This is the first requested guide in my series of "A _____ Night Out in Charleston" and I'm so excited to share it with you. This can apply if you're a local or here visiting with friends. There are SO many things to do and cool places to go, so this is just a glimpse of a night you could plan. Scroll to the bottom and screenshot the graphic for an easier reminder of the spots I recommend!
All of the places will be on a 5 block stretch of King Street, so once you're parked or dropped off, you won't have to worry about a car until the end of the night. If someone is the DD, park at the midtown garage. This garage is usually never full and is pretty central. King Street is perfect for walking in and out of shops and lots of photo ops. And of course, every place listed in this guide is extremely aesthetically pleasing because what is a night out with your girls without a few pics to show off?
Okay let's get started.
If you want to make the night out a whole thing, there is a Dry Bar right on King. Stop in for a blowout or style if you're really feeling yourself.
Our first official stop is going to be Camellias, the all pink champagne bar located in Hotel Bennet. Kick start the night with a rosé flight or a fancy cocktail. I promise you, the vibes in this place are immaculate.
Next, take a short walk over to The Darling Oyster Bar. Why visit Charleston if you aren't going to have fresh seafood? Enjoy some oysters or appetizers in this charming coastal restaurant.
After you fill up a little, the next stop is up to you. Are you feeling a party scene or something more low key? If you're up to keep the good time going, head over to Republic Garden & Lounge. If you've watched Southern Charm, you've definitely seen this spot and may know of it as Leva Bonaparte's place. If you're hoping to run into one of the stars from the show, this is probably your chance. This indoor / outdoor club always has live music and is sure to be a good time if that's what you're into.
If you want to go the more laid back route, check out Félix Cocktails et Cuisine, a Parisian influenced cocktail bar, for a night cap or dessert.
I hope you enjoyed this guide and have the chance to spend a night in the Holy City with your girlfriends! If you do, let me know how it goes and if you enjoy the spots I recommended :)
